- Birth details: Date, time, and place of birth, which you provide during onboarding. This is required to calculate your astrological chart.
- Google account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Usage data: Basic analytics such as which features you use, to help us improve the product.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Calculate and display your personalised Vedic astrology charts, predictions, and analysis.
- Maintain and authenticate your account securely.
- Send you important account-related communications (e.g., password reset emails).
- Improve our calculations, features, and user experience.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your birth details or astrological data for advertising targeting.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA256 with 100,000 iterations — your actual password is never stored.
- Sessions are managed via secure, HttpOnly cookies with a 7-day expiry.
- All data transmission occurs over HTTPS.
While we take data security seriously, no system is completely infallible. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to manage your login session. These cookies are:
- ra_session: A secure, HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in for 7 days.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare Pages: Website hosting and edge network.
- Cloudflare D1: Database storage for your account and birth data.
- Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method. If you use this, Google's privacy policy also applies.

You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update your personal information via your account settings.

Rashi Advisor is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us so we can remove it.
